In 1899 Tailor August Stenström was overwhelmed with orders for making the best, most fashionable shirts that had spread far and wide, and all the most elegantly dressed men wanted a Stenströms shirt. That same year, the first Stenströms factory was built in the heart of Helsingborg. By 1912, success was undisputed. With 140 employees, this was Scandinavia’s largest shirt factory.
